Sourced from merino sheep living in warm climates, it features very fine, long staple fibers that provide exceptionally smooth next-to-skin comfort. (Fiber diameter 20.5 microns). Can be machine-washed on a wool cycle.

Vardåsen is a ski resort in Asker, just a 30-minute drive from downtown Oslo. Its name originates from the signal beacons (“varde”) that Vikings once placed on mountaintops and high ridges as an early warning system. These beacons were visible from peak to peak – and when danger approached, fires were lit to spread the alarm across the land.
