Inspired by our first official Olympic sweater, the iconic 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics design, this reimagined version celebrates its 70th anniversary. Honoring seven decades of tradition.
The inside of the sweater is knitted with 100% merino wool, which is soft and comfortable against the skin.
The outside of the sweater is knitted with 100% fine Norwegian wool from the sheep's very first shearing (yarn quality: Njord). The fibers are short, which gives a thinner and softer yarn quality than other Norwegian wool. At the same time, the wool retains the unique brilliance, resilience, and durability that Norwegian wool is world-renowned for. Norwegian wool is one of the world’s most animal-friendly textile fibers, thanks to the sheep’s natural mountain lifestyle. Our wool comes from sheep that roam freely across the vast Norwegian hillsides, grazing in natural pastures with rich access to nutrients, water, and fresh air.
